PINCONNING, MI — When Chaz Luptowski unwrapped a 40-inch flat screen television, he giggled.
But when the 6-year-old unwrapped his Wii U game console and four games, he added a celebratory dance across the room of his home in Pinconning.
Christmas came early to the youngster, his mother Tracy Bergeron and big brother Ethan Bergeron, 19, when Santa's elf and nationally known comedian Rob Little stopped by Wednesday, Dec. 17, with a car full of presents, gift cards and peace of mind for the family.
For the past four years Little, the Pinconning-based funny man has teamed up with his mother Julie Little to help a family or two in need and lend a helping hand during the holidays through the Rob Little Gives Back charity.
PINCONNING, MI — Pinconning Journal - Dec. 24, 2014
When Pinconning native, now a nationally known comedian Rob Little heard about the tough position Tracy Bergeron and her family are in, he decided they should be his choice for his Christmas charity this year.
Bergeron, who has one son who is six years old and another who is 19, was working at Berthiaume Slaughterhouse when she broke her femur. Since then she has had one surgery to re-break and re-align her femur and needs to have another surgery since the first surgery didn’t take correctly.
Little’s charity raised just over $3000 and Little put the rest in himself with DVD sales and such. Little presented the family with the gifts Wednesday.
The comedian will be in the area again in January.
A comedy night with Rob Little and special guest Kate Brindle will take place on Saturday, January, 17, 2015 at 7 p.m. at the State Theatre in Bay City.
Tickets are now on sale at the State Theatre box office, (www.statetheatrebaycity.com)
All proceeds benefit a-la-cARTe, BayCity’s non profit arts and culture collaborative.
Rob recently released his 3rd comedy DVD/CD, which is another testament to his talent and status as a comedic force.

A 'Little' holiday spirit: Pinconning native and stand-up comedian Rob Little helps out eight area families
MONITOR TOWNSHIP, MI — Maria Rodriguez calls Rob Little her "savior."
Little, a Pinconning native who has built a name for himself in the world of stand-up comedy, considers Rodriguez a member of his ever-growing extended family.
Their worlds collided on Monday, Dec. 23, a Little presented Rodriguez with the keys to her brand new 2001 burgundy Mitsubishi Mirage at Showcase Mitsubishi in Monitor Township.
"It's a miracle,” said Rodriguez with tears in her eyes as she threw her arms around Little, embracing him with a hug. "He's my savior."
Rodriguez was at the dealership with her son Travis Pawlowski, 11, as part of Little's annual angel program.

BAY CITY, MI — It's been a busy few weeks for comedian Rob Little.
Not only did he manage to make Christmas a little brighter for eight Pinconning area families through his Rob Little Foundation, he hit the road Christmas Eve night, heading to Rochester, N.Y., followed by a gig in Columbus, Ohio.
Now he's heading home for a fundraiser at the State Theatre, this time to raise some money for Essexville-Hampton Extracurricular Activities — a group that specifically requested the Pinconning native who has gained a national following.
Pinconning comedian provides merry Christmas for area families
PINCONNING — When comedian Rob Little takes the stage throughout the year, he makes people laugh all over the country. But for the past three Christmases, Little has traded punch lines for presents.
This past Christmas, the Pinconning native and his mother, Julie Little, helped struggling families in Pinconning, Sterling and Prescott have a happy holiday. This past holiday, Little raised more than $7,000 through his website and Facebook page for the adopt-a-family project.
“We more than doubled what we made last year,” he said. “In 2012, we raised $3,237. This year, we were ecstatic to raise $7,286, not including all the donations of goods and services too.”
