Bullet Wednesday, November 28, 2007 . My good friend and Mt Forest Elementary teacher, Shay Dycewicz asked me to come in and talk with her 6th grade class at the elementary school that I actually went to. She wanted me to talk to them about career possibilities and how there is more to life than just a 1 light town. Not that there is anything wrong with that.

This was an awesome experience for me, because not only did I get to go see where I went to school but I also saw some teachers that I actually had in school too. OH, and I also got to eat school lunch which is not as good as I remembered it being.

This is Shay Dycewicz and Deb Smith the two 6th grade teachers. Oh and my awesome friends.

Half of the time they didn't listen to each others questions and they would ask me the same thing. It was hilarious.

As you can tell by the pictures he had a great time and has lost his front teeth. Wonder what he'll be getting for Chirstmas???

Bullet Thursday, November 1, 2007 . I had the night off tonight from performing at Zanies down town Chicago because a comedy legend was performing tonight. David Brenner was in town and what a great guy! Very nice to talk with and had some GREAT stories about the old days...

Actually David had one story that kind of made me crack up and I didn't think he meant for it to be funny! He told this long story about opening for a HUGE LEGENDARY SIGNER and kept telling the story saving who this legend was till the end. Well I have to tell you that I thought for sure it was going to be Elvis or Frank Sinatra or maybe even Dean Martin. Well after the 5-10 minute story was over he revealed that the legend was Robert Goulet. Now no offense to Mr. Brenner but Robert Goulet may have been a legend back in 1971, but this day and age most younger people probably wouldn't even know who he was if Will Ferrell hadn't did an imitation of him.

This is David Brenner after his very funny show

Bullet Monday, October 22, 2007 . I am in some major pain today. Working out with my trainers, they were trying to have me beat my times in sprints. Well pushing myself way to hard I starting running and pulled my hamstring... It hurts like hell right now but if it turns black and blue I'll be sure to post a picture!

Alright, off to ice and whine my ass off...

Bullet Monday, October 22, 2007 . Today I was driving north on I-5 from San Diego to Los Angeles. Right now there are many fires in California and the Santa Ana winds aren't helping much. It was so dark out that I had to pull over and take some pictures.

Then I took some pictures of what the sky looked like when I came out of the smoke. Check them out!

Bullet Friday, September 14, 2007 . I got to go on the best hike of my life to date today up in upper Washington. It was called Heather Lake Trail. i wish I could have got some pictures but it was pretty overcast this day and it was raining a bit. But oh this was so beautiful and a challenging hike.

The site (http://www.localhikes.com/Hikes/HeatherLake_7602.asp) says it's an easy hike, but it really wasn't. There were waterfalls right in the middle of the hike with slippery rocks all around not to mention it got pretty steep in some parts. But it was worth it because at the top was a beautiful lake that I could barely see becuase of the overcast. haha

Bullet Tuesday, August 14, 2007 . Today I was doing a show for the Navy on San Nicholas Island. ItŐs about 60 miles off of Los Angeles and I had to drive to Camarillo to fly out of the base there.

First off I want to say that it was awesome to fly on a Navy plane over to the island. There were no security checks, there were no treats on the plane and there was no waiting. They weighed us all including our bags and put us on the plane and we took off all in about 5-10 minutes. I wish all airlines were like this. Everything went smooth and all the Navy men and contractors were cool as hell on the plane.

But here was something they didnŐt tell us. Apparently 2 weeks ago 1 of the planes that fly over to the island (a 15-20 minute trip) had problems and had to land with no landing gear. Check out the video: Plane Crash Video

No one told us about this until we were in the air. Apparently it was a big deal on the news but I must have missed it that day. So now am I a little freaked out that no one was checked for any kinds of bombs or anything plus is this airplane going to land ok? I started looking around the plane noticing it was a much older plane with many things missing here and there. All things like decals and the basics like you would find in a commercial plane were not on or were taking out of this plane. My mind was put at ease though when I saw the engines had a decal stating that they were Rolls Royce engines. Ahhh yes, flying in luxury.

The island was quite small and very barren. But the guys and very few women were all awesome to us. We also learned of the small desert fox that is only found on this island and is an endangered species. You wouldnŐt know they were endangered after seeing so many of them on the island. The looked like little cats they were so small. And most of the men were feeding them scraps after our free BBQ that they put on for us before we performed. All in all it was a very cool military experience and I hope I get to do it again some day!

Bullet Wednesday, August 8, 2007 . Today after a long day of flying to L.A. and playing by the pool, my mom, nephew and me settled in to get some rest to do more sight seeing in L.A. while they were here visiting from Michigan. Well after an hour of trying to get comfortable on my sofa sleeper, I felt a rumble that was more than a Mac truck driving by it was an earthquake.

Now I have lived in L.A. for nearly 5 years and have never felt an earthquake so this was quite exciting for me. It only lasted like 5 seconds and it was very small but it did shake my apartment a little. Later I logged on to see the size and it only measured 1.8 on the Richter Magnitude Scale.

I jumped off the thinly matted sofa bed, hitting my knee on several of the conveniently placed lumbar bars to run into my room where my mom and nephew slept. Hoping to find them awake shitting themselves because they were just in an earthquake, instead finding them both fast asleep dreaming of their awesome time in California with me!

Bullet Saturday, August 4, 2007 . Today some friends in Arlington, TX took me out to eat at a restaurant I heard a lot about but have never had the experience of trying. ItŐs called PonchoŐs Mexican Buffet.

First off I heard pretty much all bad things about this place except for that itŐs a great place to go if you are stoned or drunk after the bars and if you are a kid looking to have a birthday party.

It is very cheap and the food is ok, but there was 1 thing that was probably the coolest thing I have ever seen at a restaurant. Instead of you going back up to the buffet to get your food they have these little flags on your table that you actually raise when you want a refill on food or drinks. Then they put the flag back down once they get your order. That was awesome!!! Some Mexican named Poncho (I assume) figured out how to make us lazy fat bastards at a buffet even lazier. Now instead of straining ourselves to get up and go get more food wasting precious energy to walk to the buffet, we now have that extra energy to pile more enchiladas into our gullets. Thanks Poncho!!!

Also, my friends knew about these tasty yet deceiving deserts that you have to ask for because they donŐt advertise them at the buffet. They are called ŇsopaipilliasÓ and they are yummy! They are deceiving because they look like plump warm donuts but they are actually completely hollow! I guess the trick is to bite off a corner of this deceptive desert and fill it with the honey that is conveniently sitting in the middle of the table just in arms reach so you donŐt have to waste any more energy than needed. Now YES this does make these devil treats much more tasty but my bitch is if the restaurant can figure out the problem with me walking to the buffet by giving me a flag to raise and have someone go get the food for me, how do they not solve the problem of putting the honey into this treat before it gets to my plate in front of me? I donŐt have all day to sit there and bite the ends off just to fill it back up with honey. I got loafing around to do!

If you would like to read what other people are saying about this place go check out this link at: Panchos Reviews

Bullet Thursday, July 26, 2007 . Today I went fishing with some friends in McKinney, TX at a local park with a pond that is supposedly stocked with fish. Well not to brag but I definitely caught the most fish - around 2 dozen. But there was 1 question I had.

Aren't things supposed to be bigger in Texas? What the hell is this?

And this was one of the bigger ones too! I know I am on a diet but I am not going to get anything off of this minnow.

Bullet Wednesday, July 25, 2007 . I thought this would be a funny story to share with you all. I received this from a fan on MySpace that is located in Texas.

I have a funny story to tell you about your last DVD - the "Born 20 Inches Long" one -

Ok, so my husband threw me a birthday party and we brought the portable DVD player for some of the kids to watch a movie if they got bored.

Well, they of course, got bored and decided to watch a DVD. So my mother goes over to try and get the DVD situated and she opens the lid to put in The Lion King or some shit - and there is your DVD w/ your head superimposed on that baby's body - with the title "Born 20 Inches Long" staring my 65 year old mother in the face.

I grab it out of her hands and tell her that it's not what she thinks - and then I go into this long ass story about our honeymoon and how we saw you and how you gave us the DVD - well then the whole family wants to know what it is ... and Eric (my husband) and I are laughing b/c they all look at the DVD and get this "look" like we've been watching porn or something - it's just GREATNESS!!!

Bullet Thursday, June 21, 2007 . I was just performing in Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri and the gig was super fun. Well the next day I got up to drive to the next gig. I am on this new diet so I had to stop some place where I could eat fairly healthy. So I stopped at Bob Evans. (If you don't know what this is it's comparable to a Denny's or IHop but more old folks). Well, sitting down I asked the waitress for an egg white omelet. Being the cute little 18-year-old blonde that she was, she asked me, "The whole thing?" Yes, she asked me if I wanted the whole omelet to be egg whites. Not wanting to pass up this opportunity I said, "No silly, just ever other quarter of the omelet."

Boy if the children are our future we are screwed!

The visit wasn't all bad though. The manager kept giving me the stink eye and watching me the whole time I was eating. He was overly attentive to my needs and kept checking on me with every pass, which was like every minute. I ate so freaking fast to get the hell out of there and when I went to pay the manager came over and said, "Oh your bill is taken care of." When I looked puzzled he said, "My wife and I saw you last night and you were hilarious!" I then told him he should have said this to me sooner so I could have enjoyed my every other quarter egg white omelet. He freaked me out but a free meal is a free meal.

Bullet May 30 - June 10, 2007 . Working in Aruba at the Comix Cafe I got to do a ton of fun things and met some of the coolest people during my stay. It was so freaking hot those two weeks that I got quite the sunburns. Yes I said sun burns, plural. I burned like 4 times and peeled after each one but I didn't care. It was like heaven down there. The people were so nice and the hotel and island were like paradise.

A lot of pictures were taken so I decided to bunch them up together in a few different groups. Check them out when you get a chance!

Bullet Tuesday, May 22, 2007 . My buddy Drake Witham and I, now staying in Detroit with my buddy and fellow comic Sal Demilio, decided we would go to my team the Detroit Tigers game. A great night for baseball, Drake, Sal, Char (Sal's fiance) and I went down to see our boys in action.

We had great seats right on the 1st base line and we just had a blast. What a beautiful stadium. Can't wait to go back to see a game again!

Bullet Monday, May 21, 2007 . My buddy Drake Witham and I decided since we had a few days off between gigs that we would catch a few baseball games. So we drove from Southbend, IN to Cleveland, OH to see the Indians play the Mariners (Drake's Team).

Unfortunately Drake's team lost on a VERY cold evening. I wasn't cold though because I was red with anger! I got a speeding ticket right before we got to the stadium. Yes the good ol Ohio Patrol got me right when the speed changed from 70 to 60 and I was going 80 so I was screwed!

Drake, feeling bad for me, bought me an Indian sweat shirt (well, not a real Indian sweat shirt; I don't think Native Americans wore sweat shirts. It would have been made out of buffalo hide or something and they would probably use it for real sweats when they would contact their spiritual guide)-- a Cleveland Indians' sweatshirt with a hood and front kangaroo pockets--probably a good idea because I would have bitched and belly ached the whole time about how freaking cold it was in May! But we still had a great time! Check out the pics.

Bullet Tuesday, April 10, 2007 . Can you make a Hot Girl Laugh? Today I was on a show for http://www.comedy.com

It was called, "Can you make a hot girl laugh?"

It was a competition in 3 rounds with 4 comics total. There was 1 girl per round and each of us comics had 60 seconds with her to make her laugh. Then the girl would pick the guy she liked best.

Out of 3 rounds I won 2!!! I have to say I was pretty nervous though. I usually don't talk to hot girls if they haven't seen my comedy show. If they have seen it, then I have so much game. But this competition was really hard. We didn't see the girl till we came around the corner and walked up to a bar to talk to her.

It was pretty rough and my nervous giddiness came off super creepy the 1st round and I felt bad for the girl. But the next two rounds I relaxed and had more fun with the girls.

My real competition was comic Brody Stevens. If you have never seen his show you are missing a real entertainer. He is awesome and is one of those guys that is always funny. A real comic's comic.

Don't know when the video will be up but I won some money and some trips to Aruba with the girls. JEALOUS????

Don't be, they are lucky to be going with me. hahaha Oh and we really didn't win anything but some money! Go me!

For those who have never felt one it was super cool! It was only like a 2 second earth quake but the floor felt like jello for those 2 seconds. I got all excited and then it was over. Just glad it wasn't a big one and hurt anyone. These small ones are fun though!
